The snorkeling itself takes place at Þingvellir National Park, where the Silfra Fissure cuts through the earth between two continents. A certified local snorkeling guide leads your group through the fissure in a dry suit - no experience required. The water temperature stays at a constant 2-4°C year-round, but the dry suit keeps you warm and the visibility is unlike anything most people have ever seen underwater.
