Tour Highlights:-Raufarhólshellir lava tube - Lava Caving Hotel pick-up time: Be ready at 8:00 am for a pick up from your Reykjavík accommodation and please note that it can take up to 30 minutes for us to arrive. Please note that your vehicle will be marked with the Arctic Adventures logo.
On this tour you will have the chance to visit the fourth-longest lava tube in Iceland.
We will be following the path of lava that flowed during the Leitahraun eruption, which occurred 5200 years ago.
Be ready to feel amazed at the shapes and colors you will be witnessing during the hour-long tunnel visit. We will go as far as 900 m long.
In order to be comfortable, make sure to bring adequate gloves and shoes.This caving trip is only a 30 minutes drive from Reykjavik.
