Our expert guides will keep an eye on the weather and cloud cover to choose the best spot for viewing, so we’ll keep the itinerary flexible! The big moment—totality—will happen right at 5:48 PM. As the moon completely covers the sun, the sky will transform into an eerie twilight, creating a brief but incredibly powerful experience. Cameras will snap away, and cheers will echo as we all take in this rare and breathtaking sight.
After the eclipse, we’ll soak in the experience, enjoying drinks and sharing stories with fellow eclipse watchers before packing up and heading back to Reykjavík. The ride home will be filled with reflections on the unforgettable day, and we’ll arrive back in the city by late evening, wrapping up a truly amazing experience of nature's most awe-inspiring event.
