Hvammsvik Hot Springs: Private Round Trip Transfer with 3-Hour Visit
Most visitors to Iceland have heard of the Blue Lagoon. Far fewer have heard of Hvammsvik - and that is exactly the point. Named Best Thing to Do in the World by Time Out in 2023, Hvammsvik is a collection of eight natural hot spring pools set directly on the edge of Hvalfjörður fjord, with the Atlantic in front of you and the kind of quiet that is genuinely hard to find anywhere near Reykjavik.
This private round trip transfer gives you 3 full hours on-site - enough time to move between every pool, let the fjord views sink in, and still feel unhurried throughout. Your driver picks you up from your Reykjavik hotel, takes you along the scenic fjord road to Hvammsvik, and waits on-site for the entire visit. All luggage stays locked in the vehicle throughout - no locker fees, nothing to carry poolside. When you are ready, your driver takes you back.
Three hours also means proper time for the Hvammsvik bistro's seafood soup - made on-site from fresh Icelandic ingredients, available only here, and the kind of bowl that guests come back specifically to eat again. Build it into your visit. It is worth it.
Entry tickets can be added as an optional extra at the checkout page. Advance booking is strongly recommended - Hvammsvik has limited capacity. The flat rate covers 1 to 8 passengers, one price for the whole vehicle regardless of group size.
Please note: the Hvammsvik entry fee is not included in the base transfer price but can be added at the checkout page. Minimum age at Hvammsvik is 12 years.
